The black mole is a culinary jewel of the state of Oaxaca. This Black Mole Powder is pepared with a wide variety of ingredients that make it easy to prepare this dish at home.  It is a mole with a smoky and sweet flavor with a low level of spiciness.

How to Prep

In a blender, grind the desired amount of mole powder with 1 or 2 cups of broth or water. Heat in a saucepan over medium heat and stir. If necessary, add more broth or water and boil until the desired thickness is achieved.

What's the best to go with

Serve with poultry, pork or beef. Delicious served over fried or scrambled eggs. Use as a sauce with any Mexican food dish such as: enmoladas, sopes, puddings or tamales.
