
Hoisin Sauce - Gluten free
Hoisin sauce, or Chinese barbecue sauce, is an important cooking ingredient in many areas. In China, it is used as a meat glaze, in stir-fries, and as a table sauce. In Vietnam, it is a particularly popular condiment with beef noodle soup (pho), and is used, either by itself, or combined with peanut sauce, as a dipping sauce for salad rolls. In Malaysia and Indonesia, hoisin and peanut sauces are used with grilled meats and saté.
