Dukkah in Arabic means "pound" or "crushed", referring to the chopped nuts and ground toasted spices in this wonderful spice blend. Everyone has their own version of Dukkah based on their favorite combination of nuts and spices. At South China Seas we combine ground coriander with toasted peanuts, sesame seeds, sumac and other spices to create a nutty and crunchy topping or rub. Use to crust lamb, chicken or fish. Sprinkle on yogurt or fresh cheese. Bake it into breads and pastries or simply dip bread into olive oil then Dukkah to enjoy it as it is eaten traditionally.
